Supermud was founded in 1979 by Maxine Krasnow. In the Spring of 1997, a small group of friends and former students of Maxine bought the studio from her and moved to its sunny, upstairs location on Broadway. With the help of devoted students and patrons of Supermud, they have maintained the same open and friendly working environment our long-time friends have come to expect.
